A Bangor woman has concluded a 45-year career as a ward clerk with the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust.

Anne Reynolds-Walls worked across maternity and paediatric wards, where she became a familiar presence for patients, families and colleagues. Her role involved supporting the smooth running of busy hospital environments.

Paediatric operational manager Tracey Erskine described her as an exceptional team member whose dedication and compassion made a lasting difference. Erskine said Reynolds-Walls had been a constant source of support and kindness and would be greatly missed.

Reflecting on her time with the trust, Reynolds-Walls said she had felt privileged to work alongside so many wonderful colleagues and to meet countless patients and families. She noted that she had formed lifelong friendships and collected happy memories. While she will miss the people, she is looking forward to spending more time with her family.
