Andrew Browne from Screeby Road, Fivemiletown, has received the Clogher Valley Show Bursary for this year.

The bursary is awarded in memory of Captain Robert Lowry, the late president of the show.

Browne is a son of Ian and Gillian Browne and is studying for a degree in Agriculture and Technology at Greenmount Campus.

He has previously volunteered as a steward in the Aberdeen Angus cattle section at the show, exhibited Hereford calves, and helped build and dismantle cattle pens.

A past pupil of Fivemiletown College, Browne plays rugby for Clogher Valley Rugby Club.
