Fivemiletown College Students Claim Top Art Prizes at Clogher Valley Show
Three art students from Fivemiletown College have won the top prizes in the secondary schools category at this year's Clogher Valley Show.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in the school by Ruth Montgomery, secretary of the Clogher Valley Show.
Chloe Robinson received the Key Stage 3 cup for a textile quilt. Kylie McKeown won the Key Stage 4 cup for a painting depicting farming life. Ava Stubbs took the Key Stage 5 cup for large-scale horse paintings.
The college also submitted a wide range of mixed media work, including ceramics, prints, photography and sketches.
Ms Montgomery commended the students' artistic skills and acknowledged the guidance of head of art Nicola Watson.
She said she anticipated seeing further work from the school at the 2026 show, scheduled for 29 July.
