Police are investigating a suspected arson at a property in Killuney Drive, Armagh, in the early hours of Wednesday, 8 July. A woman in her 40s has been arrested and remains in custody.

Officers and fire crews were called to the scene shortly before 4am following reports of a fire. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze and later confirmed the cause was believed to be deliberate ignition. Fire crews left the scene at around 5.44am.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed the woman was arrested on suspicion of arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.
