Two women have denied charges connected to the murder of 23-year-old nursing student Odhran Kelly in Lurgan.

Andrea Catherine Theresa Stevenson, 45, of Faulkner Heights in Bangor, appeared at Belfast Crown Court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Kelly on December 3, 2023. She also denied a charge of assisting offenders by aiding others in the removal and destruction of his body.

Stephanie McClelland, 38, of Lagmore Grove in Lisburn, entered a not guilty plea to a single charge of assisting offenders in the same manner on the same date.

Mr Kelly’s body was discovered beaten and burned inside a burning car in the Edward Street area of Lurgan in December 2023.

Two co-accused men from Lurgan had previously denied murder during a hearing in November 2024. Gary Damien Scullion, 34, of Edward Street, and Shane Harte, 34, of Garland Avenue, both entered not guilty pleas.

Madam Justice McBride released both women on continuing bail and set a review date of September 18.
