Police appeal after man suffers serious facial injuries in Derry altercation
Detectives in Derry are appealing for information after a man was seriously hurt during a public altercation.
The incident happened in the Strand Road area on Friday 3rd July at around 7.35pm. Police were called and attended the scene, but those involved had already left.
Officers later made contact with a man who had suffered significant facial injuries as a result of the altercation. The extent of his injuries was described as serious.
The PSNI is keen to speak with witnesses, especially members of the public who stepped in during the disturbance. Detectives are also asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have captured images or video to get in touch.
