Police in Derry are appealing for information after a reported assault in the city centre on Sunday night.

The incident is said to have happened in the Peace Garden, near the Guildhall, at around 11.20pm.

Officers at Strand Road station are particularly keen to speak to the victim. They are asking that person to contact police on 101, quoting serial number 1912 of 28/06/26.

No further details about the nature of the assault have been released.
