Police in north Belfast have issued a renewed call for witnesses after a man in his 20s suffered a severe arm injury in an assault. The incident occurred in the Duncairn Gardens area at around 1am on Sunday, 5 April. The victim arrived at a hospital at approximately 1.30am with what detectives describe as a potentially life-changing wound.

Detective Sergeant McGearty stated that investigators believe the man was attacked at that location. Police are asking anyone who saw the incident to contact them. They particularly want footage from CCTV, dash-cams or other video sources.
