Man charged with aggravated burglary and criminal damage in south Belfast
A 44-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary and criminal damage following a report of damage to a property and a vehicle in the Donegall Avenue area of south Belfast.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 14th June.
The charges include aggravated burglary with intent to commit unlawful damage, criminal damage, and two counts of common assault.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15th June.
The Public Prosecution Service will review the charges as part of standard procedure.
A 22-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of the same offences has been released on bail while police enquiries continue.
