A 40-year-old man is due before Londonderry Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 13th June, following a reported incident on Spencer Road.

The man has been charged with six counts of criminal damage, five counts of common assault, disorderly behaviour, and resisting police.

Police say the charges relate to allegations of criminal damage to vehicles and assault in the Spencer Road area on Thursday, 11th June.

The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as part of standard procedure.
