Belsonic Festival Lineup Announced with Kings of Leon and Pitbull
Belfast's Ormeau Park will host the annual Belsonic music festival from 12 June to 1 July. The series features 10 nights of performances across multiple genres.
The festival opens with a Farmers Bash event on 12 June, featuring Boyzlife, Hugo Duncan and Lisa McHugh. Other headline acts across the series include Kings of Leon, The Cure, Pitbull (performing on 30 June), Teddy Swims, Def Leppard, and Micheal Bublé, who closes the festival on 1 July. Dance music fans can see Sonny Fodera, Josh Baker and Teletech.
Translink has advised attendees to use public transport. No special shuttle buses will operate, but scheduled Metro services connect to Ormeau Park. Goldliner coach services will run from Foyle Street bus centre in Londonderry for all events. Additional rail services will depart from Lanyon Place Station.
Age restrictions vary by event. The dance acts Sonny Fodera, Josh Baker and Teletech are strictly for ages 17 and over. For all other performances, under-16s may attend if accompanied at the gate by a parent or guardian aged over 25 who holds a ticket. Accepted identification includes passports, driving licences, government-approved proof of age cards, electoral cards, student cards and the Yoti app.
Gates open at 18:00 BST each night, with last entry at 21:45 BST. Performances are scheduled to end by 23:00 BST, the event curfew. Specific set times will be announced on social media on the day of each show.
Accessible ticket holders will have use of a dedicated car park and will be contacted with details before their event. Security will direct those requiring accessible entry to gate 1, where a team member will escort them to the accessible platform. Accessible toilets are located near the platform, and changing facilities are available at the medical tent. Event stewards and St Johns Ambulance staff will be available for directions and assistance.
