Police seek witnesses after reported assault on dog in Derry
Police are seeking witnesses after receiving a report of an assault on a dog in the Carnhill area of Derry.
The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 5.05pm on Friday, 29 May.
According to the report, a man stood on the head of a black pitbull-type dog.
The suspect is described as a man in his mid to late fifties, slim build, around 6ft tall, wearing a baseball hat and tracksuit top.
Chief Inspector Ferriby confirmed the details of the report and urged anyone with information, including images or video footage, to contact police.
