Police in Derry are investigating a report of a sexual assault on two juveniles in the Cedar Street area on Monday afternoon, June 8.

The suspect is described as a white male of slim build, with short dark hair and wearing dental braces. He was dressed in a distinctive green Superdry hoodie with a front logo, dark trousers, and dark-coloured shoes.

Inspector Ferriby of the PSNI said officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have noticed suspicious behaviour. Witnesses can contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1137 of 08/06/2026.

Police are particularly interested in dashcam or other footage that may assist the investigation.
