Fundraising events in Fivemiletown have raised £2,020 for Catherine Cox, an Enniskillen child with CDKL5 deficiency disorder.

The money came from two quiz nights held at The Perfect Pint in February and March.

Total funds raised through Catherine’s Journey now stand at more than £130,000.

The funds support specialist therapy, home adaptations and equipment for Catherine.

CDKL5 deficiency disorder is a rare genetic condition affecting one in 60,000 children.

Joanne Cox said the family has been overwhelmed by community support and did not expect the response to grow as large as it has.

A spokesperson for The Perfect Pint thanked everyone who attended and donated.
