New Action Plan Aims to Boost Growth in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council has launched a three-year action plan to support economic growth, business development and job creation.
The plan was developed by the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Local Economic Partnership, which was established in June 2025.
The partnership brings together representatives from local government, business, education and the community and voluntary sector.
It has received £4.5 million from the Department for the Economy’s Regional Balance Fund for the period April 2025 to March 2028.
The plan focuses on land availability and development, business workspace development and supporting business growth.
Lord Mayor Alderman Stephen Moutray said the plan marks an important milestone and demonstrates partnership working across sectors.
Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald said local challenges are best addressed through local solutions.
