A pipe bomb exploded at a house in the Rectory Gardens area of Broughshane on the evening of 27 May.

Police said two men placed the device on a living room window ledge at around 11pm while three people were inside.

The explosion caused extensive damage to windows and the living room.

The residents were not injured.

The two men left the scene in a dark-coloured hatchback car heading towards Ballymena.

Officers and ammunition technical officers attended the scene and cordons remained in place the following morning.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information, CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1950 27/05/26.
