Road Policing Interceptors stopped a BMW on the M1 near Moira. The driver held only a provisional licence, was not accompanied by a qualified driver and failed to display L plates.

A Passat was stopped in the Seaforde area. The driver had no insurance and no driving licence. The vehicle was seized and the driver faces court.

In Glengormley, officers stopped a vehicle linked to thefts of alcohol from shops in Banbridge. The 72-year-old driver was arrested and charged with the Banbridge theft plus two other thefts of alcohol from retail premises. The vehicle had no insurance and the driver held only a provisional licence without a qualified accompanying driver. The driver was taken to custody in Banbridge. The vehicle was seized.

All three incidents were handled by Road Policing Interceptors, with local officers from the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district progressing the Banbridge theft investigation.
