Julie Erskine, former Chair of the Business Services Organisation, received an MBE in the 2026 King's New Year Honours list for services to health and social care.

The award was presented at Windsor Castle on 13 May. Erskine served as Chair from 2016 until November 2025.

She has worked in health services for over 40 years across multiple sectors.

Erskine described the day as special and expressed thanks to colleagues and supporters for their messages and assistance throughout her career.

The Business Services Organisation provides support to Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland.
