Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will hold its first Careers Information Day at Omagh Leisure Centre on Thursday, May 28, from 2pm to 7pm.

The event will allow residents to meet council staff, learn about job roles, and receive guidance on the recruitment and interview process.

Attendees will also be able to view council vehicles and take part in interactive demonstrations.

The event is open to school leavers, students, career changers and anyone interested in public sector work.

Council Chair Barry McElduff said the day offers people the chance to explore employment opportunities and learn about job security, training and community impact.

He added that the council wants residents to know about the roles available and how working for the council can provide a rewarding career.
