Fermanagh and Omagh District Council plans to hold a conference on sustainable tourism on May 7 at Glenpark Estate in Omagh.

The event, named Fermanagh and Omagh Tourism Conference 2026, will have BBC presenter Barra Best as host.

Experts from different sectors will join the discussions.

A council spokesperson said the conference provides an opportunity for industry professionals to network, receive insights, and help develop tourism in the region.

The spokesperson noted that participants will examine methods to use local landscapes to build a robust visitor economy via shared knowledge, ideas, and teamwork.
