Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a man in east Belfast.

A 51-year-old man died after being attacked by intruders who entered an apartment building on the Holywood Road in the early hours of 12 May.

A 24-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.

The pair were later released unconditionally.

Two men, aged 25 and 31, were arrested in Scotland on suspicion of murder.

They will be returned to Northern Ireland for questioning.
