The Utility Regulator granted electricity generation and supply licences to Durham Street Energy Limited on 13 May 2026.

The licences were issued under Article 10 of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992.

A consultation on the proposed licences opened on 1 April 2026 and closed with no responses received.

Copies of the final documents are available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and minority languages on request.

The licences allow Durham Street Energy Limited to operate in the Northern Ireland electricity market.
