The Utility Regulator in Northern Ireland has issued a notice of its intention to grant a modified electricity generation licence and an electricity supply licence to Durham Street Energy Limited.

The licences fall under Article 10(4) of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992.

Approval will allow the company to function as a Demand Side Unit Operator within the Single Electricity Market.
