Police in Portadown seized an electric scrambler bike after it was driven along a footpath. The incident occurred during a patrol when officers spotted the bike in view of their vehicle.

The rider tried to evade police but was stopped. Officers detained the rider and took possession of the vehicle.

Police noted that these vehicles lack road legality. No licence exists to operate them legally. They cannot be registered or insured.
