The 7 Hills Blues Fest takes place in Armagh City from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2. Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, the event includes over 40 free performances across 15 venues. Acts feature local, national and international blues and roots music.

Performers include Crow Black Chicken, the Eric Bell Trio, Rob Strong and his band, Led Hedley, Banshee Band, Villiers and the Villains, Courtnay Giffin and the Dirt and Freedom 35s. The festival starts with lunchtime shows on the bandstand on Friday.

Additional activities comprise performances by MD Rafferty Music School Live Lounge, free street acts, face painting and balloon modelling. An artisan market operates on Saturday at the Shambles Market in the city centre, offering food and other items.

Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Jessica Johnston stated that the festival boosts footfall and local traders. She noted it provides entertainment for music lovers, families and those interested in Armagh City's culture.
