Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will hold artisan food and craft markets in each urban centre twice in 2026. The markets begin in Lurgan on Saturday 4 April from 10am to 3pm.

The series follows markets held in 2025. The 2026 events will connect with council events such as Buskfest and the 7 Hills Blues Festival.

Lord Mayor Alderman Stephen Moutray stated that the markets display handcrafted goods, gourmet food and local creations. He noted that traders received public support in 2025, which led to the expansion.

Kat O’Reilly, owner of Nice Buns and Food Heartland Champion for Markets, said the markets provide trading opportunities for small businesses. She reported selling out of bakes at 2025 events due to customer response.

Further markets will visit Dromore later in April. Traders can contact the council by email to participate. Full dates cover Armagh, Banbridge, Dromore, Lurgan and Portadown.
