Police in Northern Ireland have warned drivers of likely traffic delays in south Belfast on Saturday 25th April. The disruption stems from a Sports Direct Irish Premiership football match between Linfield and Cliftonville at The National Stadium.

The game kicks off at 5:30pm. Congestion will affect the M1, Donegall Road and Boucher Road areas before and after the fixture. Road users should plan journeys in advance and allow extra travel time.

Officers urge drivers heading to the match to park considerately for local residents and businesses. Supporters must walk respectfully through residential streets.

The zones around The National Stadium fall under Belfast City Council by-laws banning street drinking. These rules apply at all times.
