Motorists are being warned to expect traffic disruption in the Boucher Road area of south Belfast on Friday evening because of a football match.

Linfield will host Cliftonville in an Irish Premiership fixture at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, with kick-off at 7:45pm.

Police have asked supporters to allow extra time for journeys before and after the match, and to anticipate congestion near the stadium.

Those driving to the game should park with consideration for residents and businesses in the wider Donegall Avenue area.

Attendees walking through residential streets close to the ground have been asked to be respectful and considerate.

Belfast City Council by-laws designate areas around the National Stadium as no-street-drinking zones.
