Armagh court has dealt with multiple cases involving breaches of orders and possession of illegal substances.

A woman under a suspended sentence for prior convictions of repeated unnecessary calls to emergency services appeared in court after breaching a restraining order that barred her from contacting 999. The judge inquired into the total hours of public service time wasted by her actions.

In a separate matter, a 69-year-old man from Bessbrook did not attend a contested hearing on his conviction for assaulting a 16-year-old boy. The court issued an arrest warrant for him.

A 21-year-old woman from Armagh, employed in a role working with children, was caught with cannabis during a police checkpoint in the city late at night. Her job is now at risk as a result.
