A judge in Armagh has told a woman she is at risk of going to prison for repeatedly breaking driving laws. The woman appeared in court for a fourth driving-related matter.

The judge ordered a pre-sentence report and stated that anyone who continues to offend in this way is in danger of being jailed.

In a separate hearing, a man charged in connection with a serious domestic assault was granted bail. The decision came after allegations were made that he had contacted the alleged victim from custody and told her to tell police he did not cause the injuries.

The court was told the accused rang the injured party and instructed her to say he was not responsible for the harm. Bail was approved with conditions.
