Clonduff Vintage Day Event Collects £6,180 for Three Charities in County Down
Clonduff Vintage and Classic Car Club organised a vintage day event that raised £6,180 for charity. The funds supported TinyLife, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and Life and Time. Each charity received a cheque for £1,800.
Drivers displayed tractors, cars and lorries at the event. Organisers acknowledged John Farnon and the Hilltown Farmers’ Attested Sales management committee for providing facilities without charge. Christine supplied her kitchen in the sale yard for free.
Food came from donations by the Downshire Arms Hotel, Katie O’s Café and Brendan Murray, who covered all milk used. Committee family members provided additional items.
Volunteers assisted with parking, stewarding and driver registrations. Others collected money on roads with buckets. Kieran Kelly led a bike crew at road junctions. Dermot Fitzpatrick lent his trailer.
