Members of Moneymore WI held a dinner at The Inn in Castledawson to mark their 50th anniversary.

Guests attended from neighbouring institutes in the Sperrin area, including Maghera, Magherafelt and Portglenone.

Local writer and poet Maura Johnston, a long-time member, served as the guest of honour.

Johnston recalled her experiences in the WI and the people she encountered there.
