Mid Ulster District Council will host the Coalisland Summer Bash on Sunday, 17 May 2026. The free event takes place at the Shared Space on Lineside from 10.30am to 1pm.

The event coincides with the Newell Stores 5K and 10K run. The 5K starts at 10.45am, followed by the 10K at 11.30am.

Activities include face painting, walkabout characters, large games, and a bubble bike. On-stage entertainment features compere Stevie King, live music from Frank McKernan and The Solo Set, performances by Coalisland Clonoe Comhaltas, and dance from JD Dance.

Deputy Chair Councillor Denise Johnston welcomed the event's return. She said the council supports such occasions to bring people together for fun and connection. Johnston invited residents from across the district to attend.
