Belfast Spring Fair Set for Alice in Wonderland Theme at Malone House
Belfast City Council will host its annual Spring Fair on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026 at Malone House and Barnett Demesne. The event runs from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on both days.
This year's fair adopts an Alice in Wonderland theme. Attractions include a spring flower show, live music, entertainment, curious characters, farmyard animals, food and craft stalls, floral art displays, circus skills workshops, and a sports zone.
Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tracy Kelly, launched the event at Barnett Demesne. She described the fair as a highlight in the city's events calendar and noted that the theme brings magic and imagination. Kelly stated that it offers families a chance to visit Malone House, enjoy the gardens, and take part in activities from blooms to entertainment.
No parking will be available at Malone House and Barnett Demesne. A free park and ride service will run from Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. The first shuttle departs at 1pm, with the final return from Barnett Demesne at 5.45pm.
Public transport from the city centre includes Metro Bus 8A or 8B from Donegall Square East on Saturday and Metro 8A every 30 minutes on Sunday. Translink passengers should check the latest timetables.
Only assistance dogs are permitted at the event. Further details are available from Belfast City Council.
