A new podcast focused on Antrim GAA launches its first episode next week. The show, titled 'We Are Antrim', features weekly episodes with conversations, debates, and interviews from players and management.

Hosts Brendan Crossan, Brendan McTaggart, and Maghnus Dunne cover news, match previews, and post-match analysis for the county. Crossan is a former Irish News journalist. McTaggart writes for Saffron Gael. Dunne reports sports for Belfast Media Group.

Maghnus Dunne stated the idea drew from podcasts in other Ulster counties like Cavan, Derry, and Monaghan. He noted Antrim lacks dedicated coverage, often relying on social media updates or away-game radio commentary.

Dunne described Antrim as a large county with untapped potential in GAA. He pointed to recent club successes by Dunloy in hurling and St John's in football that ended long droughts.

The hosts plan to combine their experience to discuss county and club games. Dunne said the County Board has provided access to management and players for the initial episode.
