Over 50 people from Ballymoney participated in a litter pick organised by BEAM at Riverside Park on March 31. Volunteers covered the park and nearby paths and streets.

The event included hidden tokens that participants exchanged for Easter eggs. Coleraine Kawasaki donated the eggs.

BEAM consists of volunteers Hannah Graham, Katherine Murphy, Clare Doherty, Zara Hutchinson and Lee Kane. The group works to support mental health and community connections.

BEAM plans a Dawn Walk on May 16. It starts at 4am from Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre car park, goes through town and ends with breakfast at Ballymoney Town Hall. Registration is required and the event is free.
