Eighteen staff members, parents and governors from Enniskillen Model Primary School abseiled 120 feet down the Europa Hotel in Belfast on March 29 to raise funds for the school's Parent Teacher Association.

Participants included Melanie, Andrew and principal Mr Glass, along with a member of the Board of Governors. The group faced cold temperatures, strong winds and rain during the descent.

The effort supported improvements to learning opportunities, resources and experiences for pupils at the school in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

Organisers reported the event succeeded due to donor contributions and attendance on the day.
