Driver Caught at 104mph on M1 with Excess Alcohol Near Double Legal Limit
Police from the PSNI Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver on the M1 motorway at Tamnamore for multiple motoring offences. The incident occurred during an Op Lifesaver speed detection operation.
Officers clocked the motorist travelling at 104mph. A preliminary breath test showed the driver had alcohol levels almost double the legal limit.
The driver faced charges including driving with excess alcohol. PSNI confirmed the arrest followed the speed and breath test results.
