Road Policing Officers recorded two separate speeding incidents on the M1 near Lurgan.

One R-plate driver was clocked at 95mph. A second driver was recorded travelling at 101mph.

The R-plate driver is due to appear in court and faces the possibility of disqualification.

Police stated that speeding remains one of the main factors in fatal road collisions.

Officers urged motorists to reduce speed and exercise caution.
