Charlie Forrester, a first-year pupil at St. Michael's College in Boho, Fermanagh, leads the MiniGP 110 class in the British Minibike Championship. He won both his classes at Cumbria Karting Centre last weekend. He placed eighth on his 160 bike in a separate race there.

Forrester travels outside Fermanagh for training, including to Nutt’s Corner, Athboy Karting Centre, and Dunkerrin Karting in Tipperary. His family took him to tracks in Spain such as MIR Racing, Yepes, and Fortuna Motorsports in Murcia for pre-season preparation.

Upcoming events include a race in Middlesbrough over Easter weekend and the FIM MotoMini Ireland series at Mondello Park on his Ohvale 160 bike. He aims to progress to the British Talent Cup.

Forrester manages Type 1 diabetes while pursuing racing. His father Paul works as a bike technician for BMW and has raced at a high level. Paul stated that Charlie developed his interest in racing from family involvement and faces travel challenges due to no local practice facilities in Fermanagh.
