Bangor Director Accepts 11-Year Company Disqualification Undertaking
John Rose, 68, of Bexley Drive in Bangor, accepted an 11-year disqualification undertaking from the Department for the Economy. The undertaking relates to his role as director of Oibas Ltd, a company registered for aircraft and spacecraft repair and maintenance.
Oibas Ltd had its registered office at 2 Market Place, Carrickfergus. The company entered liquidation on 30 March 2023. Creditors faced an estimated deficiency of £12,000, while share capital stood at £1, leaving members with an estimated deficiency of £12,001.
The Department accepted the undertaking on 2 March 2026 due to unfit conduct by Rose, undisputed for disqualification purposes. This marks one of nineteen such undertakings accepted by the Department and five court disqualification orders in the financial year from 1 April 2025.
