County Antrim director accepts seven-year disqualification undertaking
The Department for the Economy has accepted a seven-year disqualification undertaking from Martin Walker, a 44-year-old director from Castlewater Gardens, Antrim, in respect of his conduct as director of MW Barbers Ltd.
The company, registered for hairdressing and other beauty treatments with an office at 2 Market Place, Carrickfergus, BT38 7AW, entered liquidation on 18 January 2023. It had an estimated deficiency as regards creditors of £13,426 and as regards members of £13,427, with £1 owing as share capital.
The disqualification undertaking was accepted on 30 January 2026 based on unfit conduct, which was not disputed for the purposes of the procedure.
In the financial year commencing 1 April 2025, the Department has accepted 15 disqualification undertakings and the courts have made four disqualification orders.
