A 19-year-old man faces charges in Belfast Magistrates' Court after police observed dangerous driving of a scrambler bike in west Belfast.

Air Support Team officers spotted the bike on Glen Road on Sunday afternoon, March 22.

The man has been charged with dangerous driving, resisting police, using a motor vehicle without insurance, driving without a licence, and failing to wear protective headgear.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, April 17.

The Public Prosecution Service will review the charges as standard procedure.
