Elizabeth O’Hagan, known as Lizzy, died at age 68. She worked for more than 50 years at O’Hagan’s Bar, known as The Bridge Tavern, in Eskra, Tyrone.

She is survived by husband Patsy and children Shane, Ciaran, Claire, Damian, TJ and Brendan. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and siblings Michael, Eamon, Anne and Catherine.

O’Hagan was born Elizabeth Margaret Mimnagh on 9 June 1958 in Tattyreagh. Her family described her as central to both their home and the pub, which she built alongside her husband.

The family noted that she raised six children while managing the business and ensured customers felt welcome. They highlighted her role in feeding and caring for patrons.

Her family stated she showed strength during illness, supported by relatives and friends. They expressed grief over her loss and said the pub would carry her influence forward.

Funeral arrangements took place this morning. The family thanked supporters for messages received.
