Omagh Marketing Agency Acquired by Cork-Based Granite Digital
An Omagh marketing agency has reached an agreement to be acquired by Granite Digital, Ireland's largest independent digital marketing group based in Cork.
Creative Media, owned by Marcus Isherwood, employs more than 40 specialists. The agency exports 65 percent of its services to North America and serves clients in France, Germany, Sweden, Australia and Argentina.
Granite Digital has over 200 employees and offices in Ireland, New York and Dubai. Its clients include Zoom, Sysco, Stryker, Iron Mountain, Aer Lingus and Tesco.
The deal combines the agencies' strengths to target $40 million in revenues by 2027, with half from North America. Creative Media's full team will stay in place after the acquisition.
Marcus Isherwood will join Granite Digital as Chief Revenue Officer. He will work alongside CEO Conor Buckley, Chief Commercial Officer Rob Carpenter and US-based Non-Executive Chair Joy Marcus.
Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald welcomed the deal as an endorsement of Northern Ireland's digital sector innovation and talent. She noted the agency's growth in North America reflects support from Invest NI trade missions and export programmes.
Marcus Isherwood described the move as the next step after two decades of building Creative Media. He highlighted the agency's international team and client base, along with shared focus on results and growth with Granite Digital.
The acquisition was announced at Ireland House in Manhattan last week.
