Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins announced a £230,000 carriageway resurfacing project on the B66 Bann Road in Ballymoney. Work starts on Monday 23 March 2026.

The scheme covers 930 metres from the Drumskea Road junction toward Bendooragh village.

Daily road closures will operate from 9am to 5pm between 23 March and 3 April 2026. Signed diversions will use C91 Glenstall Road, C91 Balnamore Road, U4131 Ballybrakes Road, B62 Bann Road, and B66 Bann Road.

Kimmins stated the project provides benefits for residents and road users. She noted it supports road network improvements to connect businesses and communities.

The Department arranged operations and traffic management to limit disruption. Local access will continue where possible. Road users should anticipate delays and follow restrictions.

Works depend on weather and aim for completion by 3 April 2026. The Department will update on changes.
