A 38-year-old man from Duncreggan Road in Derry has been returned for trial on charges of robbery and assault. James Kelly faces offences alleged to have taken place on August 16 of last year.

The court accepted there was a case to answer. No submissions were made to the contrary.

Kelly submitted no statements and called no witnesses.

He will appear at Derry Crown Court on April 28.
