Sinn Féin opened a new constituency office in Derry's Waterside on Spencer Road. First Minister Michelle O’Neill attended the launch event.

O’Neill stated the office serves to represent all local people and provides accessible constituency services rooted in the community. She described it as a sign of the party's commitment to Waterside residents and its local growth.

O’Neill noted Sinn Féin now fields a strong team in Derry contributing to north west development.

Councillor Christopher Jackson, Sinn Féin Council Group Leader, called the times exciting for the party in Derry. He pointed to recent council election success and collaboration between councillors and the Assembly team.

Jackson highlighted over half a billion pounds in funded projects for the city, crediting Sinn Féin leadership in Foyle.
