Police in Carrickfergus are asking for public help after a car fire reported on Minorca Avenue. The incident occurred around 10:45pm on Saturday 14 March. Officers received a call that the vehicle had been set on fire.

Firefighters from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene with police. They extinguished the blaze. The car burned directly beside a gas box. The gas box suffered extensive damage.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw the fire. They seek video footage from CCTV, dashcams or doorbells. Contact police on 101 with reference 1635 14/03/26.
