Multiple Road Closures and Lane Restrictions Scheduled Across Mid Ulster
Roadworks will affect several locations in Mid Ulster through March. Lane closures and full road closures are planned in Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt, Desertmartin, Clady, Bellaghy, Maghera and Pomeroy. Delays are expected at all sites with traffic controls or diversions in place.
James Street in Cookstown faces a lane closure from Fairhill Road to Orritor Retail Park until March 29. Evolve carries out the work. Orritor Street in Cookstown closes one way from William Street to Orritor Road Retail Park from March 16 to March 29, also by Evolve.
Stangmore Roundabout in Dungannon closes fully on specified dates. DfI performs the work with daytime closures on March 14, 15, 21 and 22 from 8am to 6pm. Night closures run March 16, 18, 19, 20 and 23 to 28 from 7pm to 6am. The roundabout stays open all day on St Patrick's Day, March 17.
Lane closures occur on Mayogall Road in Clady, Tobermore Road in Desertmartin, Ballynease Road in Bellaghy, Coalisland Road in Dungannon and Gulladuff Road in Maghera. BT Openreach handles work on Mayogall Road, Coalisland Road. NIE Networks manages Tobermore Road, Ballynease Road and Gulladuff Road. These run 9.30am to 4.30pm on March 20 or March 19.
Hillhead Road in Magherafelt closes from Rocktown Road to Oldtown Road daily 8am to 6pm until March 21. DfI Western conducts the work. Pomeroy Road in Dungannon closes from Tullnagall Road to Coolmaghry Road daily 8am to 6pm until April 4, also by DfI Western.
